Is YOUR Business Built to Last?

Business Opportunities come and go (most fade in 3-5 years). The Internet however is not going away and it is now common place for anyone to start and grow a business online monetising a passion, a service, or a unique product they may have developed or idea they desire to commercialise.

Leverage & Multiple Streams of Income are the fundamentals for wealth creation and financial independence which can be achieved through an online business but only IF it's built correctly and built to last... and more important built around YOU.

If you want multiple streams of income your sales funnel can't tie you to one specific business opportunity or offer or any one company, product or service... otherwise you'll be forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars each time you want to promote something new... or diversify your market position.

The No. 1 Marketing Strategy for Newbies

no-1-benefit-of-linkedin
The No. 1 Marketing Strategy for Newbies
Internet marketing newbies usually make the mistake of focusing on the wrong area of their business, which slows down their progress. A lot of people overcomplicate this matter, and the best way to get started is to use direct response marketing.
Direct Response Marketing
To get a sale, you first have to communicate with your prospects. Direct response marketing is all about that. It’s a marketing strategy that contains specific calls-to-action and encourages the customer to take action.
For anybody starting out in this industry, direct response marketing should be your first port of call. Sure, it’s an ego-boost to be knowledgeable about the latest “must-know” tactics and secrets of sales and marketing, but the very basic principles of selling haven’t changed.
Direct response marketing is all about that. Once you’ve established your skills in direct response marketing, your next step is to focus on creating an ad. Remember, direct response marketing is a measurable strategy.
After you’ve achieved profitability, you should reinvest your money back into your business and keep your efforts consistent. You should continue it for years to come if your first marketing strategy worked well.
Call-To-Action (CTA).
For more information on how to write a highly effective call-to-action, click here.
You shouldn’t fear old principles like direct marketing. Embrace it and get your first sale through the door; that should be your number one priority at this stage.
The Main Advantage.
Good direct response marketing requires a filtering process where your customers can learn about who you are and what service you have to offer. It should filter leads that are well informed about your services, therefore being preconditioned to want to do business with you rather than your competition.
Embrace Old Principles
A few years ago, one of the biggest soccer clubs in England’s premier division reappointed Kenny Dalglish, one of its most iconic managers who had been “out of the game” for 20 years. When asked by reporters if he can survive contemporary soccer’s superficial climate and deal with the prima donnas who are modern soccer players, he confidently answered, “They’re still human beings, aren’t they?”
Internet marketing newbies usually make the mistake of focusing on the wrong area of their business, which slows down their progress. Rather than developing crucial marketing strategies, they put all their efforts into brand advertising. When they should be focused on attracting more paying customers, a lot of time gets wasted on things like business cards and logo designs.
Conclusion.
Once you’ve established your skills in direct response marketing, your next step is to focus on creating an ad. Remember, direct response marketing is a measurable strategy.
Techopedia defines this strategy as “a type of marketing that elicits a specific, measured response resulting from a consumer’s direct response to a marketer. Direct response marketing facilitates the delivery of a call-to-action and outcome via online or direct interaction for immediate feedback and response.”

The Highs and Lows of Starting a Business

The Highs and Lows of Starting a Business
Self-Doubt
If I was far behind everyone in this industry, I remember feeling that a sense of self-doubt would creep in slightly and I’d often wonder whether I was able to start an online business. When they first start out, I had absolutely no experience in this industry; a feeling many new entrepreneurs may have.
Entrepreneurs will go on a roller coaster journey throughout their business’ lifetime, and the truth is, it probably won’t stop as you begin to scale. That’s okay. It comes with the territory.
Financial Worries
An inevitable low that all newcomers will face is a lack of money. I had quit college and all the little odd jobs I had just to focus on my business when I started.Success breeds success, so you should just keep focused and work hard at your craft.
You should make it a point to attend industry events whenever you can, especially when you’re going through a period of uncertainty. You just never know who you will be able to network with and how you will be inspired.
No Social Life
One of the ultimate lows of starting your business is that your social life suffers. That could be difficult for young entrepreneurs, in particular, to come to terms with.
It takes time to get out of that difficult period. It took me nine months to get to a relatively favorable financial position.
When you feel as if you’re not getting anywhere, you begin resenting people around you– your colleagues, the company, the industry. With time, you gain experience, and soon enough you’ll learn how to make money and be able to stop worrying about your financial situation.
If you don’t put in the hours, someone else will, and they may just take the advantage and win customers that could have been yours.
If you really want to succeed in this industry, then you have to make the sacrifices. As the guest speaker at the graduation ceremony of the University of Southern California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, then Governor of California, gave a highly motivating and famous speech, dubbed the “6 Rules of Success.” Speaking on the importance of working on your goals, regardless of public perception, Schwarzenegger said, “When you’re out there partying around … someone out there at the same time is working hard.”
I overcame these lows by waking up in the early hours of the morning to learn about the industry. I had a desire to build a business and to succeed. That by itself is a pretty enthralling high. As you become better and more experienced, the highs will soon outnumber the lows, but when you start out you’ve got to accept the many obstacles and barriers that you’ll face before reaching those highs.
Conclusion
You shouldn’t fear the lows; they’re inevitable when you start out in this industry. With enough drive, time, and effort, the highs will come.
Embrace the chaos that comes with being a start-up. Let the lows be seen as experiences necessary to take your company to higher heights.

Keep Your Drive Alive for Consistent Success

Keep Your Drive Alive for Consistent Success
Perform at Your Full Potential
Because they don’t maximize their full potential, a lot of people fail to reach success. It’s extremely frustrating to know that an individual is capable of so much more than what they’re doing. There are two types of people who don’t achieve nearly as much as they could:
– Those who don’t believe they have more potential
Because they don’t believe they can live the same life as successful people, people in this category fail to reach their full potential. They feel that level of success is unattainable and beyond their capabilities. If they could turn that skepticism into belief, they could be living a completely different life– one that is rewarding, enriching and successful.
This lack of self-esteem stifles creativity and productivity. It may sound cliché, but everyone is capable of extraordinary things as long as they apply themselves and work hard. A simple change of perception can be the difference between living an average life with an average income and a successful life with financial freedom.
– Those who know their true potential, but don’t do anything about it
Compete with Yourself
People in this category fail to reach their full potential because they don’t believe they can live the same life as successful people. Those who know their potential but fail to work and reach it are the most frustrating to comprehend. When you set a target and compete with your personal best, you’ll find that it keeps you on your toes, and your productivity skyrockets. Because anything short of the previous month will feel like you’re going backwards, this type of goal will make you more determined to succeed.

Conclusion
As long as you keep tracking your progress and consciously strive to do better than you did before, your drive and focus will remain high. Don’t make the mistake of being too complacent with your business. You should always look to scale and get bigger and better.
Those who know their potential but fail to work and reach it are the most frustrating to comprehend. The only thing they’re lacking is the drive and focus. If they just push themselves to work harder, they can be whatever they want to be because they have the abilities and skills, and they know it.

Tips, Tricks, Do’s and Don’t’s of Social Media Marketing- Selling the Dream & Living the Nightmare

see-980x368

TIPS, TRICKS, DO’S AND DON’T’S OF SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING- SELLING THE DREAM & LIVING THE NIGHTMARE

In here, what I want to talk to you about today is selling the dream and living the nightmare.

BEING A FREEDOM-PRENEUR MEANS HAVING FUN!

It can be inferred that there is a huge struggle for those that leave the corporate world. It’s this– we don’t take time to have fun.
Now let me ask you: So you finally did it, right? You left your corporate job so that you could pursue being a Freedom-preneur, only to turn right around and put in the same amount of time and effort to your home based business as you did for someone else.
What is the point of all of that? You left but then you were just going to still spend all of your time working, then why did you not stay in the industry you were in? Don’t ever forget that living the dream means taking the time to live.
In all seriousness and strictly speaking, you have to get away from your desk. You didn’t sign up for that. You signed up to be a Freedom-preneur and determining what your version of the Dream is.

Here are some of the tips I have for you today:
  • You need to get out in the world and have fun! This is one of the most important things to remember. Take the time– in fact, a lot of time– to get away from your computer and enjoy life. Furthermore, spend time with your family, do something new, whatever you enjoy, go do it!
  • Create a business that you can enjoy- We all know that there is no end to the number of things you can do in the online world. The key to this is to pick something you enjoy. Take note that you aren’t in it just for the paycheck, but for the other benefits of being on online marketer. Namely, those benefits are creating a business that you actually love. You don’t like what you are selling? Then sell something else.
  • When you are doing what you love, you can do it longer- When you sell the things you love, then you will not even feel like you are working. You might find that you have been running non-stop 12-15 hours doing the thing you love. It won’t even feel like work, because you are so passionate about it.

DON’T SELL THE DREAM WHILE YOU ARE LIVING THE NIGHTMARE

It’s time to get real people.Always be connected and transparent to your audience. You can’t sell them a dream life while you are living your own worst nightmare because people are going to see right through that.
For a long time, I was selling things that I didn’t like and couldn’t feel passionate about. I woke up and asked myself, “What am I doing this for?”. To me, my realizationwas that, what I was doing at home wasn’t much better than what I had been doing in my corporate career.
So, here is something you need to know about being a Freedom-preneur: the direction of your life is up to you. You don’t have a boss hovering over you dictating to you the exact dimensions of the box that you have to stay in.
It is undeniable that being in the online marketing industry will either energize you, or drain the life out of you. I am encouraging you to make 2016 your best business year yet and get your priorities straight. Last word of advice: Figure out what makes you tick and pursue it.
